Dying Cigar

Numbed my heart, doped my inner self.
All I see is a fire before…

A dazzling smoke waltz with the careless breeze,
Restless ecstasy eludes my soul so very ease.
Escalated in a land unknown, the pain so pure,
Lost among a million mannequins, the sight obscure.
Lifeless men live in their listless way;
My fag is with whom I want to stay.
The sun sets. The knell would soon blow.
Shit I care! The ‘last drags’ yet to go….

I look at my dying cigar.
A life rests in the bloodshot fire !

P.S. They said, “Smoking Kills”.
I replied, “No one Lives Forever”
